Summertime Energy

When we speak or write we radiate an energy into the Universe and the energy matches our mood. The words we speak or write carry a vibratory signature that creates waves in the same way that a note of music creates waves.

“When we are conscious of the energy behind our words, we become capable of making beautiful music in the world. If we are unconscious of the power of words, we run the risk of creating a noisy disturbance.”

Try this….

Make a list of your favorite words and notice the energy they contain. Write them down and post them where you can see them, or you can speak them aloud, feeling them reverberate in your body and in the air around you. You will begin to compose beautiful messages, creating positive energy every time you write or speak.

Summertime

Hot, sticky air melts my makeup as I walk outside

I can hear birds chirping in the trees above my head

They sound tired and faint as if they can barely breath

I take the hand of my lover, moist and warm, like my chest rising and falling with each gasp of hot air The sun bakes the asphalt as I ask in her light

The sun warms my shoulders, the ground burns my feet

We scamper across the grass and lay beside the pool

Exhausted from our running, we lounge lazily and calm

He throws a smile my direction and my heart thunders

through my chest

The heat, his mouth

A trickle of sweat rolls slowly down my back

It trickles and I laugh allowing my head to fall, allowing my

entire body to feel his laugh

It is loud and free

I feel as if I am in a picture of someone else’s perfect life

Soon the sun falls and my lover takes my hand, now cool and dry

And leads me home
